Italian Company Looks to Kansas City for World Class Design

Pyxis International, a global e-commerce and web development company with its creative team in Kansas City, announced today it has released a new e-commerce site for QQAAXX Holding N.V., a new technology company with its technical office in Rome, Italy. The new web site will be used to establish an online identity for QQAAXX and is accessible from the web or a Pocket PC compatible PDA at www.qqaaxx.com.

QQAAXX was looking for an international company who had a professional design portfolio, e-commerce abilities and experience in developing for an International audience.

"We are able to create very strong relationships with our international clients because our depth of experience. Our global experience has exposed us to emerging technologies that a U.S. company usually have access to," said Sam Harper, CEO for Pyxis International.

For this project Pyxis was asked to develop a mirror site that would be accessible by Microsoft's recently released Pocket Browser. The Pocket Browser allows PDA's similar to a Palm Pilot view websites in full color using a wireless connection.

"This is the first wireless browser that offers a usable website experience," said Bobby Kellogg, Creative Director for Pyxis International and based in the Kansas City area. "Very few companies in the U.S. are requesting these types of services, but since Italy is building such a powerful wireless infrastructure, they are now looking for web design companies to take advantage of this."

European and Italian companies have found that many of their local web development companies don't have the experience or design talent that they need. "QQAAXX needed someone who they could trust with the design and the technical aspects of their project. They weren't able to find anyone regionally who could do both. We had been working with 12Snap.com, another big wireless company in German for the past two years, so they could tell we knew what we were doing."
